GRP (Fibreglass) , PU Hard Coating and Paint

We can now offer an end to end solution to speed up and simplify the process for you.

We have a team of skilled in-house finishers with years of experience in GRP and Painting enabling us to finish in a range of options to deliver a stunning result.

We can work with your brand colours to ensure brand consistency and as the pieces are being finished on-site, it reduces lead-times and also eliminates any risk of transport damage between finished production and final coat.

GRP

Glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), also known as glass fibre-reinforced plastic (GFRP), is a fibre reinforced polymer made of a plastic matrix reinforced by fine fibres of glass.

GRP is a lightweight, extremely strong, and robust material. It is less stiff and far less brittle than carbon fibre. Plus GRP’s bulk strength and weight properties are also very favourable when compared to traditional metal alternatives

GRP is easily moulded into a wide variety of designs making it suitable for our bespoke applications.

Durabuild – Polyester Surfacing Primer

Polyester Surfacing Primer provides rapid coat buildup and a smooth surface with high gloss when required. Polyester Surface Primer has a Low porosity—provides a superfine levelling and filling system on a variety of substrates with superior release properties.

Polyester Surfacing Primer is perfect for coating directly onto our 35kg Polyurethane foam. This enables higher detail retention vs thicker, more durable coating systems.

PU Spray Coatings

PU spray coatings is a semi-rigid/rigid coating system which is designed to be directly applied to Styrofoam, EPS foam.

PU spray coatings are unique in that it can go directly onto Polystyrene foam without the need for polystyrene to be sealed.

The surface finish of PU spray coating is not as detailed as Polyester surface primer due to its higher viscosity.
